IISL President Kai-Uwe Schrogl participated in this year’s New Space Atlantic Summit in Lisbon. The event took place at the European Maritime Safety Agency on 10 May 2023.
Building on the success of the previous years, the New Space Atlantic Summit has become a milestone event for the Atlantic and European Space Ecosystems. In this 6th edition, the Portuguese Space Agency Summit focussed on the need to pursue A Global Effort for Space Sustainability to ensure that we secure the future of a thriving ecosystem while ensuring the future of humanity on Earth.
President Schrogl took part in the panel on Management and Sustainability of Outer Space Activities and gave a presentation of the IISL, which is featured below.
Portugal recently enacted a modern space legislation to which IISL institutional member Viere di Almeida Legal Partners substantially contributed.
