ABOUT
In 2023, the Asia Pacific Regional Rounds will be organised by the Gakushuin University, Tokyo, Japan with the support of Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) Coordination Funds for Promoting AeroSpace Utilization. Gakushuin University is a private university with the history dating back to 1847, the modernization of Japan. Currently, Gakushuin University’s five faculties are developing the educational and research focus on the utilization of outer space.
The IISL introduced the Asia Pacific Regional Round of the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition in 1999. The winner of this round represents the Asia-Pacific region at the World Finals, to be held in conjunction with the International Astronautical Congress.
The Asia Pacific Regional Round is governed by the Asia-Pacific Official Rules of the Manfred Lachs Moot Court Competition.
