On 20 March, the Second “IISL Happy Hour” was held, which started as a new communication format to interact and share good experiences among IISL members in February 2021. The series of the IISL Happy Hour is coordinated and hosted by Vice President Setsuko Aoki.
This is a monthly 60-minutes program and in the first half of the Happy Hour, a presentation is given and discussed and in the second half, members are invited to chat and report, moderated by President Kai-Uwe Schrogl. For the second IISL Happy Hour, Prof. Jairo Andres Vecerra, Director of CISJUC Research Center, Faculty of Law, Universidad Catolica de Colombia made a presentation on the coordination of the very first Latin American regional round of the IISL Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition.
The experience of coordinating this fifth regional round was applauded by the about 20 participants and experiences of developing other regional rounds and efforts to make going forward were shared and discussed. Following this, reports and ideas from every and each member was presented, moderated by President Kai-Uwe Schrogl. Setsuko Aoki closed the meeting.
The third IISL Happy Hour will be held on 24 April 2021.
